mackaywong provided a Terminal 1 passenger experience that resonates the energy, character and sense of community that defines Toronto’s world-renowned Kensington Market neighbourhood. Through engaging design, clear brand communication, a strong narrative and an innovative market-style approach focusing on diversity in food & beverage retail offerings, Kensington Market Street Food provides guests the uniquely unforgettable experience synonymous with the neighbourhood from which it takes its name.
Our design intent was to leverage the creative, uniquely improvised and distinctly iconoclastic energy and characteristic elements of Toronto’s Kensington Market to inform the architectural language and approach to organizing a memorable food & beverage experience.
