Mill Street Beer Hall

Mill Street Beer Hall is an ironic spin on the traditional beer hall. Located within Toronto’s historic Distillery District with the existing pub and brewery next door, the positioning of this concept in relation to the growing brand was key.

Simple, clean details were reinforced throughout, including a simple palette of wood floors, concrete walls, wood ceiling and black metal. This is highlighted by a colourful felt wall and artwork commissioned from a local artist who created abstract images of some of the brand’s products. When the large operable door systems are opened the long glass encased patio parallels the back of the restaurant combining with the dining area, creating a double width volume of an indoor-outdoor space.
